The Characteristics of those born on the
Cusp of Pisces and Aries

Pisces-Aries Cusp dates: March 17 to March 22
Known as: The Cusp of Rebirth

Those born between March 17 to 19 are Pisces, with some Aries thrown in.

Trues Pisces-Aries Cuspers were born on March 20 or 21.

Anyone born on March 22 and a few days after will be Aries with some Pisces characteristics.

The element of Pisces is water and Aries is a fire sign.

This Cusp is known as The Cusp of Rebirth because Pisces comes at the end of the Zodiac Year and Aries is at the beginning of the next Zodiac Cycle.

Water and fire mixed together can make for a steamy combination! However, care must be taken to make sure that the water of the Zodiac Sign of The Fish does not douse the flames of The Ram.

At first glance, you would be excused for wondering how the combination of these Sun signs could possibly work, without causing massive internal conflict, but somehow it does!

Pisces – Dreamy and intuitive

Pisces is a mutable sign, which means it comes at the end of a season. In this case the transition of Pisces to Aries sees the end of Winter.

Those born under the Zodiac Sign of the Fish are dreamy, intuitive, sensitive and often find themselves in tune with others.

Aries – Energetic and sometimes selfish

In contrast to The Fish, The Ram is a Cardinal Sign, which means that it comes at the beginning of a season – Spring.

Cusp of Rebirth Characteristics

Combine the dreamy mindset of Pisces, who is strongly intuitive, with the get up and go of Aries and you have someone who knows what they want and how to get it – now!

Positive Characteristics

This Zodiac Cusp Sign combination is dedicated, assertive and likes to get things going. As a result they are strong leaders.

This is helped by the fact that they know how to push limits and take others along with them.

They love new projects and their enthusiasm and the need for challenge will cause them to jump in immediately, looking to see if they can push beyond normal limitations.

This Cusp Sign is sometimes enigmatic, preferring to hide their real selves. However, they are thoughtful and often blessed with exceptional musical talent.

They can also be very imaginative.

In their leisure time, these Cuspers will play as hard (and competitively) as they work in the office. They enjoy venting their natural aggression and emotional stress in sports, both as an individual or part of a team.

Negative Characteristics

Pisces born on the Cusp with Aries have to be careful they don’t rub people up the wrong way, with their impatience, directness and total conviction that they are always right.

This means that this Cusp Sign needs to work on their social skills, particularly developing more patience with others and not expecting everyone to keep up with their pace.

They also need to keep their ego in check and understand that life is not just about what they want or think is right.

If a project takes time to complete there’s a danger that the Zodiac combination of The Fish and The Ram will become bored and lose interest before the project is completed.

However, despite their natural impatience, they can be compassionate, sensitive and sympathetic to others.

Their greatest strength

The greatest strength of this Zodiac Cusp Combination is in their compassion, energy, initiative and courage.

They can be ego-centric. However, the natural sensitivity of Pisces-Aries makes them one of the most understanding of the Cusp Signs.

  1. Oh yeah this is true. I’m in love with a Capricorn and I had Leo girlfriends but they all didn’t work out. Libras I like them but I coduln’t be in a relationship with one. She is too social. I like aquarius but its not enough for me. Cancers I love them too but those chicks get a Lil crazy. My Aries girl was ok but she didn’t last long enough. I cant stand a Pices, Gemnis, or Sagitarius. I haven’t had a Tarius, Scorpio or another Virgo yet..

  2. I’m a Piscean/Taurean who’s bisexual and has dated and had sex with just about every sign. I’m currently in a relationship with a Taurean (not bisexual) and we totally click…except sexually (my partner is opposite of me sexually). Initially, though it was hard for me (I stepped out a few times), we’ve come to an understanding to work out our sexual differences step by step. One way we’ll try to get over this hump is for me to bring someone into our bedroom. I gotta get this ball running for us and am working on it. I believe we’ll be fine because we communicate often.

  3. Bruce Chook Fowler

    This describes me perfectly.
Throw in a dash of Aspergers and you have ME. …
However, having read this maybe I’m not as Asperger as I’ve been told..

  4. Goodness, thank you so much for your insight. I remember reading about the cusp of rebirth as a preteen, without much understanding. But coming back and reading about this again, just confirms so many things. So spot on.

So right about maintaining a patient attitude! Truly, this helps with any aspect of dealing with any other individual.

I only worry about being truly compatible with others. We can get along with pretty much any sign I think, but I can never seem to find anyone to match my “crazy”. Does anyone else seem to have this issue? We are apparently unicorns lol.

Cheers to all us Pisces/Aries cuspians! The world would be entirely boring without us! (Or so I’d like to think ;))

    1. I was born on march 20th and I totally agree with everything you just said. I have yet to find someone to match my “crazy” and it kind of sucks as I see it as a flaw. Due to the fact that the way I feel and the way I act are completely opposite. I can want to be social, and friendly but can act totally standoffish. But really deep down it’s that my social skills suck which is why I agree with you saying we crave to be compatible with everyone. I would be better off if I was a tad bit more confident and determined. Js 🙂

    2. I cannot for the life of me find anyone to match my “crazy”. I knew I was special but I’ve always focused on strictly my Pisces traits. This clarifies so much. I attract Scorpios, men and women, current 3 guys and girl are Leo, Taurus, Scorpio, Gemini. The Leo is a possible relationship. He is older and understands my nature to the T. He actually described myself to me, personality, sexuality, sensitivity and all!

    3. As a pisces Aries cusp I find connecting with others to be easy, it’s the reciprocation to this connection my life craves. I think at times what am I doing wrong, why do I repel rather than attract? Am I blessed or cursed? Only a cusp could understand, our uniqueness makes for a double edged sword.

  5. Interesting, I’ve got a friend who is on this cusp & wanted to find out about him……BUT I’m a Leo (not on a cusp) & this description is me to a T! Go figure…LOL.
